Our Mission
Dream Center New Mexico is more than a shelter - we provide biblical, practical assistance to our residents, creating a secure, nurturing environment for them to rebuild their lives. At our core, we are an outreach organization dedicated to providing support and resources to those who need it most.
From our residential programs to our extensive community outreach, all of our efforts are centered around the belief that everyone deserves a chance to dream. By stepping in and providing the necessary support, we aim to help individuals find their identity in Christ, rise above their struggles, and reach their full potential.
Your contribution, whether it's a donation or volunteering your time, can make a huge difference in helping us achieve our mission.

The DCNM's transitional program is firmly grounded in biblical teachings of redemption and restoration, and is committed to equipping previously incarcerated men and women with the necessary support and guidance to successfully reintegrate into society. The program recognizes that children of incarcerated parents are, on average, six times more likely to become incarcerated themselves, and therefore aims to break this cycle of recidivism by providing a comprehensive range of essential services and resources. These services include food, housing, job training, mentorship, and more, all designed to help participants reenter the workforce, reconnect with their families, and become productive members of the community. By offering these resources, the program seeks to empower participants to rebuild their lives and find a sense of purpose and meaning in their journey towards redemption.

Approximately 44% of young women between the ages of 18 and 25, who are experiencing homelessness, have reported being either a parent or pregnant. At our organization, we strive to provide comprehensive support to young mothers who seek refuge in our homes. Our wraparound services are designed to address their immediate needs and help them acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to build a stable life for themselves and their children.
Our family services encompass a range of critical areas, including housing and food, clothing and diapers, child care, education and GED services, financial literacy, job readiness and workforce development, parenting and life skills, and prenatal and maternal health services. By offering these services, we aim to empower young mothers to achieve self-sufficiency and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
